TapVent NFC wristband at a concert

FESTIVALS & CONCERTS

Festival wristbands
for the gate and the bar.

One NFC wristband per guest for the gate, the VIP area and the bar. Guests tap in, tap through and tap to pay, and you watch the crowd move while the music plays.

ONE BAND

Gate, VIP and bar.
On one wrist.

A festival runs on queues: at the gate, at the VIP entrance and at every bar. A tap keeps them moving, and every tap tells you something about the night.

Tap at the gate

Every guest is checked in with a tap, and arrivals and exits are recorded.

VIP and backstage

VIP areas, hospitality and restricted zones open only for the bands allowed in.

Cashless bars

With wallet bands, guests top up from their phone and pay at the bar with a tap.

Phones as tills and readers

Vendors take payments and staff check access on compatible NFC phones. Bars can also take payments on a PC with the TapVent PC reader kit.

Live crowd numbers

Headcount and zone occupancy as the night goes on.

Redemptions

Drink vouchers, meals and other one-use entitlements, redeemed with a tap.

FOR THE BARS

Less cash
behind the bar.

Cash at a festival bar means a float, change, counting and a trip to the bank. With wallet bands the guest has already topped up and the bar takes the payment on a phone. Registered companies are paid to their bank account; sole traders pay out from their wallet.

01

Payments on any NFC Android phone, or a PC with the TapVent PC reader kit, at the bar

02

Every sale on record, with live sales reports for each vendor

03

Registered companies paid every business day once TapAPI has checked them, with a statement

04

Sole traders pay out from their wallet

QUESTIONS

Asked by
organisers.

How do festival-goers top up?

They tap the band with their phone, open a wallet with their cell number and a PIN, and top up from the wallet on their phone.

Can we limit who gets into VIP?

Yes. Permissions are set per person, so only the people allowed into an area get in with their band.

Do the bars need card machines?

Not for wallet bands. Bars take wallet-band payments on an NFC Android phone, or on a PC with the TapVent PC reader kit, which reads TapVent wristbands only.

What happens to money left on a band?

It stays in the guest’s wallet after the festival.
